Benefits

Fitness has been linked directly to so many things that help you to feel happy:

  • Sleep quality,

  • Dopamine regulation,

  • Circulatory relief

  • and so many more….

Here we would like to provide a few inspirational and easy examples of how you could make a positive impact on your fitness in the coming weeks:

Some of the easiest sporting or fitness hobbies that we have found to start in the near future:

Number 1

An evening constitutional a.k.a. an evening walk. Just open the front door and go on a 30 minute to 1 hour walk around the local area. It’s really that simple. Providing fresh air, motion, a view and time to think or unwind; walking can be very advantageous for your mind as well as your body.

Number 2

Swimming, local pools are an excellent way of boosting your fitness while being a lot easier on your skeleton (minimal impact on your joints)

Number 3

Hiking is a slightly more explorative form of walking, it’s a lot of fun, great for your health and it generally comes with fabulous sights to look at.

Number 4

Rock climbing is a high impact sport with a focus on muscular development over cardio, and a brilliant sense of achievement at the completion of a wall.

Number 5

Local fitness classes can vary massively but for a small payment you can try many different forms of exercise in a session and decide what you find fun.

Number 6

Dance classes are excellent for cardio and could be advantageous if you have a partner and/or a few events coming up, it could make that event more appealing if you know what you’re doing on a dance floor.

Number 7

Circus training, such as aerial hoop or poll fitness may seem a little out there, however, as one of our staff members has done it before and cannot recommend it enough. We would love to pass on this recommendation to you to explore.

Number 8

Badminton, you may need to secure a racket. This sport however, can provide a fantastic group setting to progress your fitness and have fun at the same time.

Number 9

Squash is a very high impact sport, as it is HIIT training this is brilliant to burn calories and build muscle. It can be very competitive but if this is your kind of motivation, it could be great for you.

Number 10

Tennis much like squash, is a high impact sport, but can be much more approachable for you to get into. With a good balance of cardio and competition, we very much would recommend tennis to you.
